WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

EDIFY

 My servant Paul exhorted the church in Corinth to "Let all things be done unto edifying (1 Corinthians 14:26b). Paul was expressing one of My greatest desires which is that you and all those in My body on earth will desire to edify others.

The word, "edify," means to instruct or to help improve morally and spiritually.  My Holy Spirit has the assignment to conform you to My image.  You certainly cannot do this job.  However, you can encourage others to have open hearts to receive the words of truth in My Word and to apply what is learned to their everyday lives.

I want you to have it in your heart to build up people rather than tear them down others.  You are called to daily exhort one another to love and good works.  This is what it means to edify others.
