I created mankind with five senses - touch, taste, see, hear, and smell. These five senses were created for you to enjoy all of My creation. These five senses are the gateways to your mind. What you touch, taste, see, smell, and hear every day will determine whether or not you will stay close to Me during the day. I want you to taste My Word every day. It is your spiritual food. When you read My Word and digest it by meditating on it all the day long, My enemy will not have a chance to seduce you into worldly thoughts and actions.
My enemy wants to use your five senses as gateways to tempt you. The lust of your own flesh is one of his favorite doors to your soul that he wants to open. Be on guard against his tactics.
The most important gateways to your mind are your ears, mouth, and eyes. What you see; what you speak; and what you hear will affect your walk with Me. Today, make it your goal to listen to the still, quiet voice of My Spirit. Set no evil thing before your eyes. Speak only those words that edify. When you do this you will enjoy My presence all the day long and you will also enjoy My creation.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
