There is something missing in your culture today. That something is what causes people to respect one another and to care for one another. That something is reverence. When you revere someone, you will respect and honor them because you esteem them higher than yourself.
A sense of reverence is often missing in believers as they gather to worship Me. It pleases Me to hear songs of praise and worship. However, if the songs of praise and worship are not offered to Me with a reverent heart that is prepared to obey Me, I am not pleased.
The heart of true worship is to obey the will of My Father. If you just mouth words without focusing on Me and revering Me as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, you have missed what true worship is.
True worship only occurs when you are willing for My Holy Spirit to shed My love abroad in your heart to such an extent that you greatly desire to lift your voice up to Me in praise and worship because you recognize how much I love you.
Today offer your praise and worship to Me with a willing heart that is ready to receive My love and thereby obey My will.
