WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

RENDER

The word, "render," means to restore back, surrender, present or submit.  The Pharisees were always looking for a way to entangle Me.  After they tried to flatter Me, they asked Me this question: "Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?"

I asked them to show me the tribute money, and then I asked them whose image and superscription was on the coin.  They exclaimed, "Caesar's." I then responded, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's."

They failed to see the point.  Caesar owns nothing because everything that has been created was created by Me and for Me.  So many in the world do not understand this truth.  Because you understand this truth, hold everything I have loaned you lightly in your open hands, and be willing to let go and give.
