WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

LESSONS

You probably have often heard this phrase from your parents: "I hope you have learned your lesson." There are so many lessons to learn in life, but many people never know where to study those lessons.

My Word is like a "Life Manual."  The stories in My Word, the principles, the songs, and the proverbs in My Word all have life lessons that you can learn.  Those lessons will keep you from making many mistakes in life.

My desire for you and for everyone is that they see the importance of daily reading My Word.  However, just reading My Word will not guarantee that you will live a wise and blessed life.  You must heed (obey) My Word.  I challenge you as you enter the new year not to miss a day reading and heeding My Word.

PSALM 19:7-11
