I created your five senses to receive the stimulating sounds of the waves as they crash against the shore, the stimulating beauty of a starlit night, the stimulating smell of fresh mowed grass, and the stimulating tastes of delicious food.
The age you live offers a multitude of activities that will satiate your thirst to fill your five senses, and often those activities will draw you away from My beauty and the beauty of the world I created.
One of the main weapons My enemy uses to seduce you is distractiion. Do not love the things of this world. Instead, set your affections on the things above. I have peace and love to offer you as you spend time with Me. Take time to receive those gifts from Me and allow Me to fill your senses.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
