SPARE TIME

When I walked on Earth, I had much more spare time than you have.  Busy housewives have to clean, wash clothes, cook and shuttle children back and forth to lessons and sports events. Men work 8 hours a day.

I never had to cook, wash clothes, clean my home because I did not have one and My only work was doing the will of My Father..  People like Mary and Martha took care of my needs.  I told someone who wanted to follow Me that I did not even have any place to lay My head.

Everyone is given the same amount of time, but what you do in your spare time will make all the difference in your life.  It is important to take some time for yourself like reading a good book.  May I suggest that the best book you can read is the Bible.  You also need to have fellowship with others, but do not forget to fellowship with Me.  In fact, you do not need spare time to do that because I am with you always.  Just talk with Me throughout your busy day.

MATTHEW 8:20

GOOD

I want you to keep looking ahead with a heart filled with faith.  Faith resides in your heart. Even though your faith can only be demonstrated in the present moment, I do want you to stretch out your faith by expecting Me to be your "Good Shepherd," Who will lovingly care for you in the future.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Hope is the expectation of good.  When I walked on Earth,  a man, called Me "Good Master."  I asked him why he called Me good, and I told him that there was none good but God.

The good news is that you are hid with Me in My Father's heart.  This means you are doubly blessed because My Father's goodness can now live within your heart because My love can fill your heart to overflow.  Good fruits will come in your life when you depend upon My goodness within you.

CONSCIENCE

When Adam and Eve were created, they did not know good and evil.  They only knew good.  They walked in the Garden with My Father without fear or shame.  Their souls (minds, wills, and emotions) were totally submitted to My Father.

The moment Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge, conscience of what is good and what is evil developed. After that time, shame and fear began to rule their emotions.  Their minds were turned to themselves instead of to My Father.

Every person since that time is born with a sense of what is good and what is evil.  Today lift up your soul to Me, and I will empower you by My Spirit to choose and to do those things that will please My Father.

CHALLENGE

Daily you may face challenges.  The challenge may be as small as accomplishing your "To Do List" or as large as finding a new job or a new place to live.

Whatever your challenge may be, I want you to remember that you can do all things thru Me as I give you strength.  You will gain strength if you look at your challenge with My eyes.  I am the author and finisher of your faith, so I know exactly how to help you meet every challenge with both peace an joy.

You will gain strength as you spend time with Me before you face the day.  In My presence is fullness of joy and My joy will strengthen you to meet every challenge.  You also will be able to face challenges with great peace as you pray about these challenges and thank Me ahead of time for mounting guard over your heart and mind as you take steps to meet those challenges.

FOREVER

While you are on Earth, it is good to know that nothing lasts forever.  I have heard people say that their favorite verse of Scripture is "It came to pass."  Heaven, however, is your eternal home, and it will last forever.

When you know these truths, your will be able to see the importance of investing in things that will last forever.  The things that will last forever are My Word and the souls of people.  These are the forever heavenly treasures that will last for all eternity.

One day all that is on Earth will be burned.  You might ask yourself today, "Why do I spend so much time taking care of ashes?"  Commit your works to Me today, and My Holy Spirit will establish your thoughts so that you will spend your time on Earth wisely.

2 PETER 3:10; PROVERBS 16:3

ELIMINATE

There are things in  your life that I want you to be intentional to eliminate. I want you to eliminate all judgement from your thoughts and speech.  I warned My followers to judge not lest they be judged with the very same judgement that they judged others.  I want you to see people as I see them.

You can judge the fruits in the lives of others, but be careful not to judge them or presume to judge the motives of their hearts  I am the only One Who can completely know the hearts of others.

The other thing I want you to eliminate in your life is negative speech and negative thinking.  My promises are not negative. My adversary's strategy is to consume you with negativity.  When you have a negative thought about someone, do not verbalize it.  Instead give that thought to Me, and allow Me to share with you how I see that person.

MATTHEW 7:1-2

EMPTY

When a relationship is broken, there is an emptiness that settles into your heart.  I am the only One Who can fill that empty void in your life.  I came to heal broken hearts, and part of that process is to enter into a deeper relationship with Me.

Communicate with Me your emptiness, and do not deny the feelings that you have.  A feeling of loss in your life will cause you to grieve for a season, but I am a Man of sorrows Who is well acquainted with grief.  Only I can turn your mourning into dancing and restore My joy and peace in your heart.

I gave the invitation years ago to come to Me when you are heavy laden, and I promised then to give you rest.  That rest will come when you take My Yoke upon you and learn of Me meekness and lowliness of heart.  In fact, that is what I am teaching you this very moment as you grieve your loss.  Yoke yourself to My Holy Spirit, and He will teach you all that you need to know through My Word.
