I want you to have a longing in your heart for Me. Longings are desires that keep coming to your mind. Those desires can go deeper than just the mind. Longings can affect the emotional area of your soul, and if those longings are not according to My will, your focus on doing My will can be diverted.
Some single people have such a longing to be married that their minds and hearts are not stayed upon Me and they are not at peace. Others may have a longing to succeed in business. I exhort you to release all of your longings to Me. As you delight yourself in Me, the desires in your heart will be My desires for you.
Seek Me first, and then allow My Spirit to develop longings that will keep your mind and heart focused on Me. When you long to do My will, and not your own, you will not be distracted from the kingdom work that I have for you.

RUNNING
The word, "running," can have many meetings. For example, you live in a day when people are running daily to stay fit. I loved running with My disciples along the shore of Galilee. People ran to meet me when I was near them.
My heart is for people in your age to spend more time running to meet Me than just running for physical exercise. Many are running away from Me because they do not want to be bothered with anything that interferes with their own plans.
I do have a plan for such people, and I exhort you to pray for those who are running to get away from Me. My Spirit has the power to soften the hearts of those you lift up to Me in prayer. Never give up praying for those who have yet to run to Me for forgiveness and eternal life.

IMAGES
You live in an age when you are bombarded with images all day long. As you drive to work, you see bill boards, and advertisements on buses. When you come home you watch the news, movies, or TV programs.
Just before I left this Earth I gave specific instructions to My disciples. I told them, "To watch and pray." I wanted them to watch out for the signs of My second coming, but I also wanted them to watch out for the devil.
The devil uses what you watch daily to put images in your mind. He can seduce you to give in to the lust of the eye (vain imaginations, greed, covetousness) when you set your eyes on the wrong things.
I want you to focus on those things that are lovely and pure and close your eyes to those images that will seduce you. So many in your age are bound by pornography. The way to conquer this bondage is to focus on Me and worship Me. I will give you divine images in your mind as you worship Me.

CLOSE
My enemy knocks on three doors in your soul with his temptations. Those doors are your three lusts; the lust of the flesh (seeking to satisfy your senses in an indulgent, addictive way); the lust of the eye (greedy longings in your mind, vain imaginations, greed and covetousness); and the lust of the pride of life (trusting in yourself more than you trust in God).
You will have those three lusts until you leave this world. Satan was able to implant these lusts in souls after the "Fall." The lust of the flesh was implanted in the emotional part of the soul. The lust of the eye was implanted in the mind part of the soul. The lust of the pride of life was implanted in the will part of the soul.
Every time you are tempted to open the door to these lusts when Satan tempts you, close the door by speaking My Word out loud just as I overcame Satan by speaking the Word out loud when Satan tempted Me in the wilderness.
1 JOHN 2:15-16; LUKE 4:1-13

FEET
"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" Most of My time was spent just walking around the Sea of Galilee. I walked to Jerusalem for all the Feasts. Father always instructed Me to walk where the people were.
I want you to use your feet to bring My good news to places where those who do not know Me are located. Too many of My beloved are satisfied to remain within the walls of a church building. Pray to My Father in My name and ask Him to direct your path today.
Be alert to hear from My Spirit as He directs you to speak to certain people as you walk in the park, market place, and work place. Remember also that My enemy has been put under My feet, so do not be afraid to speak My good news to others.

ABSENT
Every morning I eagerly wait to hear your voice as you praise, worship, and lift up your concerns to Me. I recognize that some mornings that you do not have time to spend that quality time with Me.. However, even if you miss your morning time with Me, I want you to spend a little quality time in My presence later in the day.
I am never absent from you, and I do not condemn you when you miss your morning time with Me. My presence is always with you and will be with you forever. Instead of feeling bad about missing your time with Me in the morning, simply recognize My presence with you as you hurry off to work and stop in traffic or at lights as you drive. This is a way that you can pray continually throughout the day. I love to hear your voice any time throughout the day.

WHAT?
When you go through hard trials, you often ask why this trial has been allowed by Me. Trials can be caused by many things. One of the main reasons that trials happen is that you have a tendency to go ahead of Me or you fail to ask Me for My wisdom.
Whatever may cause trials in your life, the question to ask is not "Why?" but "What?" What can you learn in the midst of the trial and what character trait of Mine can be infused into you during the trial. James wrote that patience is one of the major fruits that is formed in your life during rrials.
Remember that I oversee everything in your life. I often choose not to deliver you from trials just as I chose not to deliver Peter from his trial. I told Peter, however, that I would pray that his faith not fail when he chose to deny Me three times. Rest assured that every trial you experience is a test of your faith, and know with confidence that I am praying that your faith not fail during the trial.
