TRAVEL

Every time you pray, you are taking a road trip to heaven.  You climb into the vehicle of prayer and you travel the "FAITH HIGHWAY."  That "FAITH HIGHWAY" is paved with a substance called hope.  The substance that gives you hope is My Word.

If you are not abiding in My Word, My love, and Me, you will have a bumpy ride and besides that, you will not be very joyful on that road trip.  Your prayers will be prayers of begging and pleading with Me.  You will forget to praise and worship Me before you present your petitions to Me.

I want you to have a joyful ride as you travel in the vehicle of prayer to My throne room.  There will be many pot holes along the "Highway of Faith" that you will encounter if you are not abiding in My Word.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  Today you will have a smooth ride into My throne room if you are careful to read and heed My Word.

INTENTS

I know that as you read My Word you sometimes feel like the content is too much to absorb.  I do want My Word to go down deep into your heart so that your heart can be changed.

My Word is compared to a two edged sword that is able to discern even the thoughts and intents of your heart.  When you allow My Word to penetrate your heart, you can rest assured that the intents of your heart will be directed by Me.

Never ignore the gentle impressions that My Spirit gives you.  Follow the intentions that you are given each day by My Spirit and you then will be able to guard your heart from receiving the thoughts My enemy seeks to give you daily. 

When you follow the intentions of your heart, you will be amazed at how I will use you during a day's time.

HEBREWS 4:12 

BEING

In Me you live and move and have your being.  Without Me you would not even be able to breathe.  Without Me you can do nothing.  Many of My beloved are so concerned about doing My will and pleasing Me that they forget that I am more interested in you as a person than you as a laborer in My Kingdom.

When you recognize that the greatest fulfillment you can have in life is allowing Me to work through you both to will and to do of My Father's good pleasure, you will be able to cease from your own labor to try to please Me.

What pleases Me most is faith.  When you put your full faith in Me and My ability to bear fruit through you, you will be at last satisfied and content with life.  You will at last see that I am your life.

PHILIPPIANS 2:13; ACTS 17:28

WARMTH

I am the light of the world.  Light conveys warmth.  The warmth of My love can embrace you even when you have experienced the cold grip of death that has taken away someone you loved.

My Holy Spirit can comfort you with My love and warm your heart when depression has caused you to be frozen to the joys of this life that surround you.

Today, allow the light of My love to be shed abroad in your heart by My Holy Spirit.  When you receive a fresh anointing of My Spirit, you will be able to warm others with My love.

ROMANS 5:5

RISK

I know that you are a cautious person and that you hate to take risks.  However, a walk in faith is a walk that includes risks.  You have heard the expression, "Take a leap in faith."  When you take a leap in faith, you are taking a risk. 

Throughout the Bible, you will sek "risk takers" who were also "faith walkers."  Think about Gideon and Joshua and how they took risks to come against their enemies.  I gave both of them some extremely strange instructions that made no sense in the natural.  I won the battle for both of these men because they both took leaps of faith and did not consider the risks.

I want you to be a "risk taker."  Understand that when you take a leap of faith by obeying the instructions of the still, quiet voice of My Spirit, I will always be with you to see you through victoriously.

SURROUND

As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so am I around those who fear Me.  You fear Me when you have an awesome respect for My sovereignty in your life, and you also have an humble, obedient heart that desires to do My will.  When you walk in the fear of Me, you can expect blessing upon blessing in your life.

I surround those who fear Me and I hold them close to My heart.  Meditate on that truth today, and there will be no room for fear in your life.  My perfect love for you will cast out all fear.

PSALM 34:7; 1 JOHN 4:18

HOPE

Hope is the peaceful, confident expectation of good.  Hope is not wishful thinking.  Hope is a vital part of faith.  Faith can only work in the present time.  Hope is extended into the future.  When faith and hope meet together, your prayers will be more effective.

I am the One Who can fill your life with hope.  I am the "Living Word" Who can give you hope when you need hope.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for.  It is the evidence of things not seen.
You cannot see into the future, but My Word is the substance that can give you hope in the future.

My servant Abraham could not even perceive how he would have a natural child when he and his wife were old.  However, Abraham hoped against hope.  This is why he was called the "Father of Faith." He was fully persuaded that what I had promised Him would come true.  I did not disappoint him.  Today place your hopes in Me and build your faith on the solid foundation of My promises written in My Word.  When you do this, you will never be disappointed.
